5 days in a ski mountaineering paradise

A proposal for groups under the banner of ski mountaineering amidst the silence and quiet of the untouched snow-capped peaks of the Maira Valley, where every peak must be conquered with passion and extreme satisfaction.

TRIP DETAILS

5 days – 4 nights

DAY 1

Arrival in Dronero, Maira Valley. Briefing at the tourist office with the organizers, welcome and explanation of trip details. Visit to Occitan Museum (deepening of Occitan language, history and culture) in Dronero. Travel to Chiappera (Acceglio) by own vehicles, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2

Breakfast and first day of ski mountaineering with the accompaniment of an alpine guide among the valley’s most famous peaks, Rocca Castello-Provenzale and Brec de Chambeyron. Dinner and overnight stay in Chiappera.

DAY 3

Breakfast and short drive to Canosio, second day of ski mountaineering on the Gardetta plateau, between Bric Cassin and dozens of other routes available in the area, suitable for all levels. Dinner and overnight stay in Canosio.

DAY 4

Breakfast and third day of ski mountaineering on the slopes of Marmora and Canosio, among forests and enchanted peaks. Dinner and overnight stay in Canosio.

DAY 5

Breakfast and hike among the beautiful hamlets of Marmora. Lunch in Marmora. In the afternoon, wellness path in an Alpine Relais. Return home in the evening.

PRICE:

Groups of 6 to 9 people, from 545 € per person
Groups of 10 to 13 people, from 500 € per person
Groups of 14 to 17 people, from 485 € per person

THE PRICE INCLUDES

• Overnight accommodations: triple/quadruple rooms and/or dormitories (posto tappa) for 4 nights (linen not provided).
• Meals: 4 dinners, 3 packed lunches, 1 lunch in a restaurant, 4 breakfasts.
• Accompaniments: 1 day with a local alpine guide
• Relaxation: wellness path in a chalet in Marmora
• Visits: entrance to the Occitan Museum of Dronero
• On-site welcome: welcome briefing at the tourist office, handing out of specific materials on the trip, explanation of the itinerary, on-site assistance throughout the tour.

• Bed linen and towels
• Travel to and from the Maira Valley
