Rifugio Detto Dalmastro
In Dronero, at 1300 meters on sea level, in Maira Valley. It’s a mountain hut where we respects the mountain. This hut was building by Partisan people. They were here during fascists’s resistance
Rifugio Detto Dalmastro was inaugurated on 2 June 1970, it was used without any managements
Since 2 June 2013 it has been managed by Roberto Menzio. It offers restaurant and hotel services: about 30 seats for lunch and dinner. 18 places to sleep in a large shared bedroom. There is also a “romantic” double bedroom with private bathroom
Who are we?
Roberto Menzio worked around the computing in a multinational company. Since some years has decided to change his life. First he managed the Sogno di Berdzé hut in Cogne, then the Massimo Mila hut in Ceresole Reale. Here he obtained the "Alpine Pearls" and "Quality of the Gran Paradiso National Park" certifications. In his DNA he has respect for the mountains, love for the place that welcomes him. Not last. the good cuisine made of carefully chosen local products.
