Built in 2013 in honor of the engineer Angelo Valmaggia, the bivouac is located at 2335 meters above sea level.

The completely wooden structure offers 12 beds equipped with mattress and blankets, an emergency kit, electric light and gas stove with dishes. At about fifty meters there is a source of water.
