
The bivouac is located in the upper Maira valley, in the Traversiera valley, next to the Colletta, at 2840 metres above sea level, and was set up thanks to the collaboration of the Acceglio Municipality and the C.A.I. Carmagnola and volunteer members.

From the Maira Valley
Approach from the Traversiera valley
From the hamlet of Villar di Acceglio, take the road of the Traversiera valley, at first asphalted, about 4 km, then dirt road, past the church of Madonna delle Grazie you must leave your car – no traffic allowed – and continue on foot along the ex-military road that climbs with a constant gradient up to Colletta, continue to the right and you will reach the bivouac.
Approach from the Maurin valley
From Chiappera continue along the road, at first asphalted and then dirt road up to the car park at Grange Collet , go up the path to the Bellino pass, continue downhill in the direction of Grange dell’Autaret and after about 200 metres follow the diversions on the right towards Colletta and from here following the military road you will reach the Bivacco.
