Via Ferrata of the Oronaye
The experience of the Via Ferrata delle Oronaye starts from the area of Viviere with a long approaching path that winds between pastures and bivouacs, crosses the Bivacco Valmaggia and then reaches the base of the via ferrata at an altitude of 2,650 m a.s.l. near the shelter (Bivouac) Enrico Mario. Here starts the via ferrata built by the italian alpine troops in the thirties for military purposes, a steep and panoramic path that climbs up to reach the second emergency shelter, located at the base of the last stretch of via ferrata, characterized by the adrenaline metal ladder that allows you to reach the Dronero peak, at 3,050 m a.s.l.
