The Meja Occitan Trail is the race that kicked off MOT events with the 2021 edition.

In 2024 the race was 42 km with 2650 m D+.

This race, now in its fourth edition, changes its outfit and comes this year with a loop that embraces the valleys of Unerzio and Marmora.

It starts from the village and immediately with a big climb through the village of Canosio you reach the Colle di San Giovanni, from which a suggestive path leads to the main valley and from there to the beginning of the Unerzio valley. Frere, Chialvetta, Viviere and then up to the Gardetta pass, and already here it is amazing, but wait until you get off the top of the hill and travel the entire fabulous Gardetta plateau and you enter directly into fairy tales. The dominating Rocca la Meja that will attract your gaze is the enchanting castle. From the Colle del Mulo more than ten kilometers of fantastic descent will bring you back to Marmora.
