MOT 3x50K 2024 – Stage 2
In 2024, the MOT changes its dress, but the spirit remains the original Maira Valley: 3 distinct stages, seemingly unrelated to each other, but with a fil-rouge that reflects the three souls of the valley.
Stage 2 [50K – 3,180 m D+] is the return to the highlands. It is a tough, high-mountain stage that leads to one of the most secluded and astonishing corners of the Maira Valley. After the endless meadows of Elva here is the wild Colle delle Sagne, which at almost 2900 m represents the highest elevation of the MOT. Meanwhile, the severe Monte Chersogno dominates the scenery.
