Perun d’Perin Crag
Crag, or rather, mega boulder that is located right in the center of the village of Acceglio a few meters from the parking lot in the market square, just across the creek. Much of the crag remains in the shade, excellent therefore on hot summer days. Elevation 1250 m and exposure varies, from northeast to south. The site is named after the person who enhanced and equipped it, namely Alpine Guide Nino Perino who lives right in Acceglio. Today we find some pitches on the overhanging part with medium and high difficulties (up to 8a) and others much easier (grade 4) on the more leaning part, ideal for beginners. Piton bolting for a total of about 15 pitches.
