Massimo Prando Crag (Ussolo)

Mountain crag set in a truly remarkable environmental setting. It is a long band of rock (limestone) that diagonally ascends a steep slope. There are about 25 routes from grade 4c to 7b. Prevalence of short routes on compact walls, slabs and small overhangs.
To access the crag, you leave your car near the Vallone di Ussolo hamlet, and with about 45 minutes of walking you reach the base. This site was recently upgraded and equipped in 2020, so the equipment is excellent with bolts. Altitude of 1750 m and southeast exposure make it an ideal crag from May to September.
