Elio Bonfante Crag

High mountain crag with a very long approach. On the other hand, the environment is stunning, immersed in the glacial basin of Mount Chersogno, Mount Camoscere and Rocca la Marchisa.
Nearby there is also a beautiful bivouac (the Bivacco Elio Bonfante) that can be a good foothold for a two-day “wild” hiking and climbing trip at 2,500 meters above sea level.
We find 15 bolted routes, with difficulty grades ranging from 4 to 6b+ with predominantly very easy pitches.
The rock is a very good quality quartzite and the climbing is on compact notched slabs and walls. Ideal time…summer. Southeast exposure.
Of note near the crag is a 4-pitch multipitch named Makalu64 equipped with bolts.
