The route starts at Bassura di Stroppo (946 m), descending the steps to the right of the square to reach the bridge and from there a path that climbs into the woods towards Borgata Palent. From the Chapel of Our Lady of Aramola, turn left towards the village of the same name. On reaching it, continue on to Murengo and Palent. Passing through the village and fields, the road crosses a country lane. It then passes near a reservoir (1598 m) and continues to the Colle dell’Encuccetta. From here you descend towards the lower pass and continue along the Napoleonic Road, also touched on by the Occitan Paths, as far as Bassura di Stroppo, where the loop ends.
