Chiappera – Maljasset connection
The wide grassy Col de Maurin saddle is an ideal link between Chiappera and Maljasset, used in the past for the exchange of goods, the passage of migrants and soldiers between Italy and France.
It starts from Chiappera, where you follow the asphalt up to Gr. Collet, continuing to the pastures of Gr. Seimandi.
Then follow the path at an altitude of 2170m, where, alternating between stretches of bike and stretches of bike on the shoulder, you reach the col de Maurin-Col de Mary. We descend through the pastures to the larch forest which marks the arrival at the village of Maljasset.
