Piedmont networks to promote its vast and varied tourism offer.

We collaborate with Visit Piemonte to tell the story of the territory through eductours with international media and at trade fairs in Italy and abroad.

The BCC Banca di Caraglio has long supported our projects and believes in promoting the Maira Valley.

From the union of the Consorzio Operatori Turistici Valli di Lanzo and the Consorzio Operatori Turistici Valle Maira, the Società Consortile a responsabilità limitata Valli Lanzo & Maira was born in January 2024, the first one so far in Piedmont. A company created with a view to collaboration between two territories that, although different, both aim to enhance sustainable mountain and outdoor tourism. Perfect places to venture into any outdoor sport, where nature becomes the protagonist and traditions, history and flavours offer the right corollary for unique experiences.

This union is aimed at strengthening the Piedmontese mountains that live on sustainable tourism, with territories that have much to tell, on the one hand the long Occitan tradition of the Maira Valley, on the other the Franco-Provençal tradition of the Lanzo Valleys.

Silent and welcoming valleys, with family-run establishments, restaurants offering typical gastronomic specialities and skilled artisans with unique productions: a heritage that must be experienced and savoured every day of the year.

The collaboration between the Maira Valley Tourist Consortium and Atl-Visit Cuneese is well-established and manifests itself in the realisation of events, publications and shared social content.

Atl-Visit Cuneo has repeatedly supported and accompanied the Consortium in events, such as the presentation of the Occitan Experience docufilms to the public and in the promotion of the MOT Maira Occitan Trail .

Since the birth of Terres Monviso, an association that unites the territories that gravitate around the famous mountain, the Maira Valley Tourist Consortium has been collaborating fruitfully with this reality and with the individual Valley Gates.

Between working and discussion tables, where ideas and ties are born, and moments of celebration, the collaboration with Terres Monviso is constantly evolving.

One of the most significant moments is the Terres Monviso Outdoor Festival, held in Saluzzo every March. It is an opportunity to present the different valleys, side by side with local producers, with many side events (book presentations, concerts, screenings of docufilms on the theme of the outdoors).

Ortovox has supported the Occitan Experiences project from the beginning, a series of docufilms that allow you to discover the Maira Valley through outdoor activities such as ski mountaineering, snowshoeing, climbing and of course trekking.

It also supported the production of the guidebook on ski mountaineering in the Maira Valley, available online at this link.

We firmly believe in consistency and continuity in our business and for this we rely on trusted suppliers, with whom we have established a strong partnership.
